Family Care Ministry

Family Care’s purpose is to reach out to people in the area by teaching practical life skills. They have done classes on budgeting, $10 family meals, homemade laundry soap making, and sewing.

They run Growing Hope Garden, an almost 1-acre community garden, where they invite you to rent raised beds to grow your own produce, or join them for 4th Saturday work days during growing season and help them care for their potato patch, strawberries, raspberry & fruit trees.

For more details, please email wagonersa@gmail.com or call Scott Wagoner at 417-434-2035. Information about classes will also be posted on the Journey Church Joplin Facebook page.
