Celebrate Recovery @ Forest Park Joplin meets every Tuesday night at 6:00 P.M.
Mission Joplin , run by Forest Park Church, assists Joplin tornado (May 22, 2011) victims and others in the Joplin area who need help with basic necessities. They distribute food, clothes, dishes, toiletries, baby items, and housewares.
Do you need help? Visit the warehouse on Tuesday or Thursday from 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.
Want to help? You can donate, donate in-kind items (non-perishable food, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, toiletries, bed sheets, dishes, towels, and clothing) , or volunteer (loading/unloading, help with registration, help clients find what they need. Neighborhood Life House
Neighborhood Life House serves the northwest Joplin area and “exists to build relationships within our community in a safe, Christ-centered environment.” Find out more about the available programs, which include karate, dance, & sewing classes as well as a monthly neighborhood supper.
Rapha House seeks “to end the trafficking and sexual exploitation of children through aftercare for survivors, prevention for the vulnerable, and awareness for all.”
