Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery creates a safe, caring place to study the 8 biblical recovery principles to help people break free from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7 P.M in The Loft of the Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church.

Celebration Station is the children’s companion (K-6) to Celebrate Recovery. Childcare is also provided for babies - 4 years old.

Cassville Community Food Pantry

The food pantry programs at Cassville UMC are available to Barry County residents who lack access to food basics and basic toiletries.

The Feeding America Food Pantry is an income and family size based program that operates Monday - Thursday from 9 - 11:15 A.M. Accessed through the west office door.

The USDA Foods Distribution is also income and family size based and is done once a month, usually on the 4th Tuesday from 3:30 - 5:00 P.M.

The Senior Box Distribution is an income based program that provides a variety of food items once a month, normally the 3rd or 4th Friday from 1 - 3 P.M. To use this program you must pre-register. (It was not specifically suggested how to pre-register, but we would suggest calling the church office at 417-847-2328 to find out more.)

Family Life Center @ First Baptist Church

The Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church has a gym, fitness room, game room, racquetball court, and study room. It is open to the public and there is no admission fee. Open Monday - Friday from 6 A.M. - 1 P.M. & Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 - 5 P.M.

Cassville Senior Center

The Cassville Senior Center is open Monday - Friday from 8 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. The senior center offers a variety of activities for older adults.

Lunch is served Monday-Friday from 11 - 12:30. All are welcome. Cost for 60+ is a suggested contribution of $3.50, but is not required. Cost for those under 60 is $6. You can view the monthly menu on their Facebook page.
