The Pantry is run by Community Outreach Ministries & is a member of Ozarks Food Harvest. Hours: Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 PM, Thursday & Saturday from 10 AM - 1 PM.

Need help? Stop by the pantry during open hours. For your first time, bring social security cards for everyone in the household, photo I.D. for everyone 18+, proof of address and proof of income.

Golden Rule Thrift Store

The Golden Rule Thrift Store is a source of affordable clothing, furniture and household items. All money raised from store sales go to support the operations of COM (Community Outreach Ministries)

Located right behind the Bolivar Fire Station, the thrift store is open Tuesday-Friday 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. & Saturday 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. If Bolivar schools are closed due to weather, the store is also closed.

Want to help? Donations are typically accepted From 10 A.M. - 1 P.M. Tuesday-Saturday. When you come to make a donation, go directly to the warehouse door instead of the front desk.

Donation items accepted include: clothing, shoes, jewelry, books, records, video tapes, DVDs, games, toys, sports equipment, housewares, collectibles, antiques, knickknacks, tools, domestic items, electronics, and furniture.

Polk County House of Hope

Polk County House of Hope provides immediate and long-term safety to victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. They offer a hotline, victims services, emergency shelter & community resources. House of Hope works to prevent future violence through education, intervention and advocacy.
